Biography

Sebastian Baraldo, composer and multi-instrumentalist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He began his musical studies in Drums and Percussion at the age of 12 at Moron Music Conservatory in Buenos Aires, Harmony and Counterpoint at Clave de Sol Music Conservatory (Buenos Aires), and private lessons of piano, guitar, harmony and composition with teachers like Gabriel Soulé, Ricardo Medina, and many others.

He has graduated as Engineer in Audio in Tecson Institute, He did a master degree in Sound Engineering and development in Physical Acoustic at the University of Buenos Aires given by Carlos «Indio» Gauvrón, and he has participated in several masters and workshops like the Music and Sound for films, imparted by the SGAE Foundation in Madrid – Spain, with the participation of composers like Jose Nieto ( «La Pasion Turca», «El maestro de esgrima»), David Cerrejon (co-composer in «La piel que habito», «Exodus: Gods and Kings «), Composition Workshop with Luis de Pablo, etc.

Between 1999 and 2015, he has participated like a drummer, guitarist and songwriter in different projects in several music styles like Rock, Blues, Heavy, Funk and Jazz , touring several countries in South America and Europe. He is currently devoted to the composition of music for image in all its branches, having already made the original music for several short films, trailers and promotional videos from Spain and United States.
One of his last works, «11.66» a Shortfilm by Jose Yebes, has been nominated in differents film festivals around Spain and Argentina: «Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival» (Mallorca,Spain), «Semana Corta Cartajena» (Cartagena, Spain), «K-Lidoscopi» (Cullera, Spain), «FIC-ESMI Festival» (Buenos Aires, Argentina), «Muestra Proyecta Jerez» (Jerez, Spain), «VII Visualízame» (Jaén, Spain) and «Cortos con Ñ» (Madrid, Spain).
